Lightopia2008

I went Tokyo station last Sunday to view illumination with my friend.
Started from Flower fantasia just behind Marunouchi Building and saw beautiful decollated flowers with colorful lights.
Families, couples, and Santas giving a ride seemed enjoying this view and taking a lots of pictures.
Yes, it’s really pretty and peaceful moment exists.

To see love and peace around Tokyo station, go to Ko-kyo(Imperial Palace) and you can see glazing picture works!
Here, lot of doxies lined up and candles were gleaming inside.
Pictures were drawn on each box by many well known persons like entertainer and Politician.
Fountains and warmth light illuminations were absolutory attractive for all visitors.

There are plenty of places for viewing illumination around Christmas day in Tokyo!
So try to find your best illumination for your great time.

Hope your greatest Christmas!

Do as the Romans do?

Some people who start to live in Japan have often questions how to dispose trash.
Where should it be put? When and what time will be collected? Should separate burnable and unburnable garbage?

We welcome to answer the questions from new visitors and glad to instruct like culture of Japanese life!

I know it is sometimes difficult to get used to and hard to follow the rules.
I lived in England, Canada, America, and Australia for several months and face some difficulty of accustom myself.
Sometimes get angry and sometimes admire.

But on the other hand, I enjoyed behaving like native and learn the way of their living.
I think it's kind of cool things to do to understand other cultures and we can improve our lifestyle!!!

Many Café lovers or A Few Cafés in Tokyo?

On Sunday, I was walking in the city and wanted to have a cup of coffee for a rest.

Yesterday was cold outside and it was about 3 o’ clock.
So, there were long long lines in each cafes which is waiting for other customers leave from the seats.
Really every cafes, Starbucks, DOUTOR, SAINT MARC, TULLY’s….

I gave up drinking in the café and tried to find the warm place to stay for a while.
And decided to visit the internet café to make me worm even though it looked not fancy and dull.
This gloomy internet café has more than 30 seats and locates in the corner which not many people walk around BUT all seats are already taken as well.

After waiting for 30 minutes, finally reached not fancy coffee in that internet café and watched DVD for 2 hours.
This is because many people love staying in cafe or not enough cafes exist in Tokyo?

Tokyo info is introduced in our web site!
